HomeTech Protection covers home office and home entertainment devices, smart home products, and personal wearables. Including:

	<li style="margin-left:8px">Gaming and entertainment systems: Gaming consoles, Blu-Ray players, DVD players, LED/LCD TVs, remote controls, and speakers.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Home office equipment: Monitors, keyboards, mouses, desktops, laptops, Wi-Fi&ndash;only tablets, external hard drives, and eligible printers.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Smart home devices: Smart thermostats, video doorbells, door locks, security cameras, and light dimmers.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Wearables: Wi-Fi&ndash;only smartwatches, Wi-Fi&ndash;only health and fitness bands, and audio headsets.</li>

Eligible in-home products are covered for mechanical or electrical failure caused by: (i) defects in materials and/or workmanship; (ii) power surge; (iii) dust, heat or humidity; (iv) normal wear and tear; or (v) unintentional and accidental damage from handling as a result of normal use (&ldquo;ADH&rdquo;) for laptops, tablets, portable DVD/Blu-ray players, portable gaming devices, wearables, audio headsets, virtual reality headset and printer display screens only.

Yes. A $0, $49, or $99 Service Fee is required per approved claim, depending on the equipment.&nbsp;You will be billed via credit card at the time the claim is filed. For more details, please refer to the Terms &amp; Conditions.

There is no limit to the number of home tech devices covered by HomeTech Protection.

You may file an unlimited number of claims in a 12-month timeframe, but there is an aggregate $5,000 limit per household for that 12-month period.

Additionally, there is a $2,000 single claim limit.

An approved claim will apply to your total claim limit for 12 months after the claim is completed. After 12 months (from the time the claim is completed), the amount of that claim will no longer apply to your total claim limit, and the amount will be added back to your available claim-limit allowance.

Tech support starts at the time of enrollment and protection coverage starts 31 days after enrollment.

You can cancel HomeTech Protection by calling 866.642.4170 or visiting&nbsp;<a aria-label="att.com/myatt" href="http://www.att.com/myatt" rel="noopener" tabindex="0">att.com/myatt</a>. You can cancel your HomeTech Protection service at any time.

Note: You have 30 days after cancellation to file a claim as long as you have been enrolled for a minimum of 30 days.

HomeTech Protection includes 24/7 technical support for all your eligible home tech devices. You can get help with:

&bull; Setting up new devices

&bull; Using and getting the most out of your devices

&bull; Troubleshooting your devices if you run into an issue

AT&amp;T HomeTech Protection subscribers get two in-home consultations per year (12 month period) with no additional charge. For device installations, the $49 fee covers one installation of one device. Multiple devices require separate appointments (price per install).

If install is not completed, then you&rsquo;ll be reimbursed the $49 fee. 
But AT&amp;T expects that in-scope services will be completed within one visit regardless of time requirement (within reason).

If Asurion is unable to repair your product and it needs to be replaced, you may get one of the following, at Asurion&rsquo;s discretion:

&nbsp;&nbsp;&bull;&nbsp;A new, refurbished, or remanufactured product of equal or similar features and functionality that performs to the factory specifications of the original covered product

&nbsp; &bull;&nbsp;Reimbursement for the replacement cost of the product

No. HomeTech Protection does not cover smartphones. If you would like coverage for your smartphone, you must enroll in a device protection program that has smartphone coverage. Only non-connected tablets and smartwatches and laptops can be covered under both plans for support or claims for accidental damage or out of warranty malfunctions. You can call Asurion at 866.562.8662 and an agent will ask qualifying questions to get you to the right program. Non-connected means not connected to a data plan. If your tablet or smartwatch can use a SIM card to connect to cellular network, it is not covered by this plan. To confirm whether your tablet or smartwatch is covered, you can call Asurion at 866.562.8662.
