Eligible mobile phones and tablets, such as the <a href="/buy/phones/apple-iphone-16-pro-max.html" target="_self">iPhone 16 Pro Max</a> and <a href="/buy/tablets/apple-ipad-a16-2025.html" target="_self">Apple iPad (A16) 2025</a> on an active AT&amp;T postpaid wireless plan, are covered by AT&amp;T Protect Advantage plans. In general, eligible devices will have the following coverage:

Phones:&nbsp;Includes wireless device, battery, and, if part of the covered loss, standard battery charger, and SIM.

Wireless Home Phones:&nbsp;Includes wireless device, power cord, backup battery, phone cable, and SIM.

Connected&nbsp;Laptops: Includes laptops, standard battery, and battery charger.

Tablets:&nbsp;Includes tablet, battery, charger and SIM (for non-Wi-Fi only).

Watches:&nbsp;Includes device, battery, charger, and SIM. (Only watches with their own wireless number and SIM can be covered.)

AT&amp;T Protect Advantage for 4:&nbsp;Covers mobile devices that are connected to the AT&amp;T wireless network and non-connected devices such as Wi-Fi&reg; tablets. It also covers laptops that are connected to the AT&amp;T network. Once you select a primary device (a device connected to the AT&amp;T wireless network with a postpaid monthly voice or data plan), you&rsquo;ll be able to add three additional devices which may be either connected or non-connected. These additional three devices can be added at any time after your AT&amp;T Protect Advantage for 4 enrollment.

AT&amp;T Protect Advantage is AT&amp;T&rsquo;s protection program for cell phones, tablets and smartwatches&mdash;provided in partnership with Asurion. It&rsquo;s sometimes referred to as &ldquo;phone insurance&rdquo;, but it&rsquo;s so much more. With Protect Advantage, you can choose to protect one device with Protect Advantage for one and up to four devices with Protect Advantage for 4.

Each Protect Advantage plan includes an unlimited number of claims,1 $0 unlimited screen and back glass repairs,2 same-day replacement and setup,3 unlimited battery replacements,4 unlimited photo and video storage,5 and ProTech expert support. Just remember, you can <a href="/offers/device-protection/" target="_self">sign up for Protect Advantage</a> only <a href="/offers/device-protection/" target="_self">during an open enrollment period</a> (or within 30 days of purchasing your device).

Keep in mind&mdash;if you choose not to enroll in Protect Advantage, you won&rsquo;t have any coverage if your device is accidentally damaged, lost, or stolen.

AT&amp;T Protect Advantage is more than just insurance. It provides protection against lost or stolen devices, accidental damage from handling (ADH) physical (excluding ADH) or liquid damage, and out-of-warranty malfunctions.

The cost for AT&amp;T Protect Advantage for 1 depends on the device tier and value. Devices may move device tiers during your enrollment. Tier changes will be updated online and available at&nbsp;<a aria-label="phoneclaim.com/att" href="https://www.phoneclaim.com/att" rel="noopener" tabindex="0" target="_blank">phoneclaim.com/att</a>.

Screen repair is unlimited and does not count towards your aggregate claim limit. The service also covers more than just cracked screens. It covers other types of damage to screens like flickering, black screen etc. Note: Legacy plans (enrolled prior to 2/24/2022) do not include unlimited screen repair and count towards your claim limit.

*Device must be undamaged and in good working order at time of enrollment. Enrollment is available within the first 30 days of new activation or upgrade, or during an Open Enrollment period. You can switch your already-enrolled number to a different plan at any time. Protect Advantage for 1 is $14 or $17 per month per mobile number enrolled depending on device tier.
