All AT&amp;T Fiber plans include a wireless modem/router. The latest AT&amp;T gateway includes new Wi-Fi 6 technology to deliver the fastest and most reliable connectivity throughout your home.*

While AT&amp;T customers are free to use their own routers or Wi-Fi equipment, it is not recommended. You should check with the manufacturer of the equipment to confirm compatibility. Some routers or Wi-Fi equipment may not be capable of supporting all the features offered by AT&amp;T Fiber.

All internet plans with AT&amp;T Fiber provide unlimited data on your home internet connection. That means that you won&rsquo;t have to pay any data overage fees, no matter how much you download, stream, game, and so on.

It depends on many factors, but there are situations where you can install your own service.
